I remembered falling inlove with normcore and setting it as my personal style. However, there is one style influence I (unknowingly) always mix to it – grunge. Even though I am now more open to colors and trying out new trends, I always gk back to the grunge normcore when I feel like dressing down.
Grunge and normcore are both influenced by the 90s. It’s a fun way to bring an attitude to the plain normcore feel or toning down the grunge; vice versa. To get the feeling for this mixed style influences, just take your everyday jeans mix it up with a shapeless top (with print is a plus, depending on what you’re feeling) and accessorize it with something current and edgy – for example a choker.
